Richardson Data Centers

Shotgun Creek Investments chose Richardson, Texas, suburb to Dallas, as the site for two unique Private Data Center developments because of Richardson’s robust power and fiber infrastructure; attracting major data center operations and critical facilities for companies such as Cisco Systems, Bank of America, SunGard, AT&T, Verizon, Texas Instruments, Rockwell Collins, and Fujitsu. One of the data centers was a purpose-built 72,500 square foot structurally-enhanced data center building designed to withstand 146 mph winds and uplift; containing 3-10,000 square foot independent raised floor halls for single or multi-tenant divisibility. This data center was built out with a 2N electrical and N+1 mechanical configuration: each hall delivering 1,125 KW of critical load power; pre-engineered with conduits and pads to expand the power and cooling infrastructure to deliver 2,250 KW of critical load power to each hall. The data center was fully commissioned upon delivery, successfully allowing companies to immediately deploy critical data center operations, with the long-term ability to expand power density and cooling.
